Rusty Shipp being nominated for an Indie Ville TV award was a fantastic surprise. Everyone in the band and at Valinor Records are very thankful. It was even more humbling to see that Rusty Shipp was up for Performer of the Year, a category that makes us all even more proud of their live show.

On top of that, Rusty Shipp was nominated with some incredible bands, including Ravenhill, a band we've all been fans of for years. Ravenhill puts on an amazing live show. So needless to say we did not expect to win. So yes, there was a shocked look on bass player Dustin Herres’s face when he ran up to accept the award on the band's behalf. We were honored and excited and couldn't have done it without all the Shippmates and music fans in Nashville and abroad!
